Social Leagues Welcome Tournament …

Your first chance to get involved before our Semester 1 Social Leagues kick off in October! New to Queen Mary? Looking to meet people, get active and have some fun? Join our Social Leagues Welcome Tournament, a one-off tournament designed to introduce you to our Social Leagues programme before the main leagues begin in October.

Team up with your new flatmates or coursemates. No team? No problem! Sign up on your own or with one friend, and we'll place you into a team on the day. It's the perfect way to meet new people, play some sport and get a feel for Social Leagues before the season gets underway.

Open to new and returning students.

⚽ Football (7-a-side)

• 10:30am – 3:00pm
• 8–10 teams
• 7–10 players per team
• £5 individual | £10 pair
• Sign-ups for the Semester 1 Football Social League open from this event, with the league starting in October.

🏐 Netball

• 10:00am – 12:30pm
• 4–6 teams
• 7–10 players per team
• £2 individual | £4 pair
• This semester, Netball will run as a tournament format rather than a weekly league.

🏀 Basketball

• 12:30pm – 3:00pm
• 4–6 teams
• 5–7 players per team
• £2 individual | £4 pair
• Sign-ups for the Semester 1 Basketball Social League also open from this event, with weekly games beginning in October.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a regular player, everyone is welcome. Come along, meet new people, enjoy some friendly competition and start your university sporting journey before the leagues officially begin.
