Our All Student Meetings take place regularly throughout the academic year, Every Queen Mary student has a say in how your Students' Union is run - and All Student Meetings are one of the ways this happens. These meetings are your chance to:
What actually happens
Think of it as the biggest student discussion on campus. You get the chance to submit ideas, speak for or against proposals, debate topics from campus life to national student issues and vote on what your Students' Union should do next.
Every decision made at the All Student Meeting becomes official Students' Union policy - so your vote really does matter.
You can submit an idea to be discussed at the next All Student Meeting.
Why should I go?
Because no one knows student life better than....well you and other students! Whether you're passionate about a big campaign or just curious about how things work, your input helps decide the future direction of your Students' Union and University. By attending the meeting you'll get to vote on all the ideas and motions submitted and have your say on what we do next as your Students' Union.
Who can take part?
All Queen Mary students - that's undergrads, postgrads, part-timers, and distance learners too. With the meeting taking place online, you can join from wherever you are in the world, pyjamas optional.
If you have any questions about the All Student Meetings please contact us via social media @QMSU, or send an email to su-representation@qmul.ac.uk.
